What better way to view our beautiful United States than hitting the road with GMGs in tow, competing in 3 of the biggest BBQ Competitions.
Starting September 28th 2015 we will begin our BBQ journey, making our way to the World Series of BBQ- The American Royal in Kansas City. There, we will compete in the Open and Invitational competitions against over 500 teams. Our time in Kansas City will be spent sampling some of the great BBQ the city is known for.
The next leg of trip will bring us to Lynchburg, TN to compete at the Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational, one of the most prestiges BBQ competitions. There we will face off against 50+ U.S. teams along with a handful of teams from around the world.
Our road trip continues taking us farther east as we make our way to compete in the World Food Championships. The World Food Championships is the largest competition in food sport, where champions of previous events convene in Kissimmee, Florida. The categories are Bacon, Burger, Chef, Chili, Dessert, Pasta, Recipe, Sandwich, Seafood and of course our category: BBQ.
We will end our trip by driving through the south and of course stopping at World Class BBQ joints along the way.
